Category: Company News Date: 2026-06-16 15:45 Author: Leapers

From June 9 to 11, 2026, PCIM Europe, the premier global event for power electronics, was held as scheduled in Nuremberg, Germany. Leapers participated in the exhibition for the sixth consecutive year, showcasing its full range of automotive-grade SiC power modules alongside several new products designed for AI computing centers. Our booth received repeated visits from both new and existing customers as well as industry peers.

I. New Product Series Covering Diverse Application Scenarios

Since its inception in 1979, PCIM has consistently evolved in tandem with global advancements in power electronics, intelligent motion, and energy management, establishing itself as one of the most authoritative international exhibitions in the field. This year's event brought together more than 600 leading companies from around the world and over 10,000 cross-border industry professionals, collectively envisioning the future of the power electronics industry.

  • SiC Modules: A Comprehensive Product Matrix for All Scenarios

At the exhibition, Leapers highlighted its four newly launched SiC module series, precisely tailored to different voltage levels and application requirements:

  1. LPP Series: Targeting the grid and high-voltage drive markets, the 3300V SiC modules are suitable for applications such as solid-state transformers (SST) and traction converters.

  2. LEP Series: Designed for the SST market within AIDC applications, covering 1200–2300V, featuring low loss, high output power, and high reliability.

  3. LDP Series: Aimed at the commercial vehicle and construction machinery markets, with an epoxy design resistant to shock, vibration, and high temperatures, supporting a wide bus voltage range. Dual parallel module inverter bricks can achieve a maximum power of over 800kW.

  4. LCD Series: For the passenger vehicle market, featuring an ultra-low thermal resistance design with power scalability up to 300kW.

New Product Showcase

  • Embedded PCB: Pioneering New Approaches to Integrated Solutions

On the morning of June 10, Leapers held a new product presentation at its booth for an embedded PCB solution, drawing a sizable audience of professionals. This solution integrates power modules directly into the PCB, significantly reducing parasitic inductance and simplifying thermal management, thereby enabling customers to achieve more compact and efficient system integration.

The launch of these new products marks the continued maturation of Leapers' product portfolio in power semiconductors and integrated application technologies, enabling us to provide more targeted solutions for customers across different industries.

II. Mass-Produced Products Also on Display

In addition to the new series, Leapers also exhibited its full range of SiC and IGBT modules, including the ED3, 62mm, and 34mm series. These mature products have been deployed in volume applications such as induction heating, electroplating power supplies, medium-frequency power supplies, and motor control, and continue to secure orders from overseas markets.

    III. AI Empowering Power Electronics

On June 11, Mr. Hong Wencheng, CTO of Leapers, delivered a speech titled "AI for Power and Power for AI" at the AI & Data Centers Stage. He elaborated on how AI technologies can empower the intelligent optimization of power electronics systems, as well as the critical demand for high-efficiency power modules in high-compute AI data centers.

During his presentation, Mr. Hong noted that Leapers actively applies AI tools in its daily development processes, including multi-objective optimization (MOO), process optimization, and test data analysis. This has significantly improved R&D efficiency, shortened project cycles, and reduced labor inputs, achieving a closed-loop "AI for Power" capability. At the same time, the SiC power modules developed by Leapers have become key components for AI data centers. The company has already introduced products suitable for solid-state transformers (SST) and solid-state circuit breakers (SSCB), demonstrating the broad application potential of "Power for AI."

IV. From Exhibition Participation to Local Presence: Leapers Accelerates Global Expansion

This year marks Leapers' sixth time exhibiting at PCIM. From initial sample demonstrations to the current volume export of multiple products, Leapers is steadily advancing from an industry participant to a key supplier. By the end of 2025, approximately 50% of Leapers' business came from overseas markets, with key sales regions including Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, while also beginning to explore the Middle East energy market and the Southeast Asian electric vehicle market. Going forward, the company will continue to be driven by technological innovation, delivering high-performance, high-reliability power semiconductor solutions to its global customers.
