On October 20, 2026, the topping-out ceremony for the Leapers Yangzhou Production Base was successfully held. The Yangzhou automotive-grade 3rd-generation power semiconductor module project represents a total investment of RMB 1 billion, with Phase I investment of RMB 200 million. Upon reaching full capacity, the base is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1.5 million SiC modules.
Leapers Yangzhou Production Base officially broke ground on March 29 of this year, and the main structure has now been topped out. The facility is expected to complete line commissioning by April 2027. The base covers an area of 5.3 acres, with a total floor area of approximately 32,000 square meters. It includes a packaging and testing plant, an office building, an inspection center, an R&D and testing center, and reliability and failure analysis laboratories, covering the full chain from R&D to manufacturing.

Phase I focuses on establishing three fully automated SiC module packaging and testing production lines under an automotive-grade quality management system. The lines will incorporate more than 100 imported and domestic pieces of equipment, including fully automatic die bonders, fully automatic silver sintering systems, vacuum soldering furnaces, fully automatic terminal welding machines, screen printers, coating machines, potting machines, and molding machines. The facility will integrate MES, EAP, and other production element management systems, while actively introducing AI-assisted management to achieve automated and digitized production management and build an intelligent factory.

Following the topping-out, the project will move into the construction of a fully intelligent SiC module production line. Once the Yangzhou base is operational, Leapers' automotive-grade SiC module capacity will see a leapfrog increase, providing customers with higher-quality, larger-scale, and more stable and reliable delivery assurance.
Since 2026, Leapers has achieved rapid business growth, with year-over-year revenue increasing by more than 50%. This growth is attributable to the company's full-scale investment over the past year and more in emerging strategic sectors including SST, power grids, energy storage, and electric heavy-duty trucks. The company has partnered with more than 30 new customers this year, and has established strategic partnerships with over 10 customers in the SST and SSCB product areas, including industry leaders and internationally renowned companies. An increasing number of customers recognize the innovative performance and stability of Leapers' SiC modules.
In terms of R&D investment and product innovation, Leapers' newly developed 2300V and 3300V SiC modules have received praise from customers in application testing for the SST sector. For more information about Leapers' SiC modules and application solutions, please feel free to contact us.
About Leapers
